Half-year goal check-in
Back in December the newsletter was about NOT setting New Year’s resolutions, instead, it spoke about setting SMART Goals. Last week marked the half-year point of 2022 and it’s the perfect time to check in and see how you are doing towards reaching your goals. Are you still on pace? Did you forget what your goals were and need to refocus? It’s so easy to get wound up in day-to-day life, the hustle and bustle, you may have pushed aside the things you WANT to accomplish to get done the things that HAVE to be done.
Vacations can get you out of your groove
We all need a break. Just be sure that break doesn’t then cause you to get out of your routine when you “return to reality”. The best thing to do when you get back from a vacation is to get right back to your routine of eating right, exercising, and working towards reaching your goals. Don’t let not doing something keep you in the pattern of not doing anything. Focus, and get right back into the groove!
Plenty of time left to reach your goals
Keep a positive attitude and outlook towards reaching those goals you set so long ago. The worst thing you could do is to throw your hands up and give up. The year is only halfway over, you have plenty of time to focus and reach your goals. If you’ve already reached those goals, there is time to set some new goals and crush those too!
Dedication and perseverance are what you need to be healthy BEFORE you NEED to be healthy. Never give up on reaching for your goals, big or small, it all matters!
