It is important to find a type of exercise that you enjoy, exercise that works for you and fits into your busy schedule.  It is also important to hit your body with a variety of exercises, keeping your muscles guessing is the best way to see results.  We offer a wide variety of group exercise classes to ensure you find the fun in fitness...for LIFE!

Our classes focus on cardio and/or strength.  Most classes are 45 minutes long to ensure you get a good effective workout in a short amount of time...no one wants to be at the gym for 2 hours and you don't have to be!  Below is a description of each class we offer. We look forward to welcoming you be healthy BEFORE you NEED to be healthy!

Introducing our three new Back to Basics (B2B) Boot Camp Classes.....

In this workout you will start with strength training, done circuit style with 4 stations, hitting each body part, chest, back, biceps, triceps, shoulders and legs. You will then do a cardio block (HIIT) which will consist of 3 different moves done to a specific amount of time.  The workout will conclude with two core moves for a full body workout that will help you tone while revving up your metabolism! 
This workout focuses on strength training circuit style with 4 stations of work with low weights high reps, to promote muscle toning.  You will work each body part, chest, back, biceps, triceps, shoulders and legs, finishing this full body toning workout with a core focus. 
This boot camp will have you doing a mix of strength training with cardio bursts in a 4 station circuit format.  You will work each body part, chest, back, biceps, triceps, shoulders and legs, ending with a core finisher for a full body workout in just 45 minutes!

 Gentle Yoga 
Power Hour - Strength/Stretching

Yoga is the practice of a balanced combination of poses with attention to alignment, mindfulness and observing the breath.  Classes are a good physical workout while keeping you centered and balanced.  All levels are welcome. (Mats will be provided or you can bring your own.)

Kettlebell AMPD takes heart-pumping music and your favorite kettlebell moves and combines them into 45-minutes of calorie-torching fun! This full-body workout emphasizes group fitness and focuses on specific areas such as arms, legs, core, and cardio. Each song concentrates on a main area, while still maintaining a whole-body routine.

Real people for real results — Kettlebell is for anyone and anybody who is looking to have fun. Weights vary anywhere from 5-15lbs, so the workout can be adjusted and moves modified to suit your individual needs. Anyone can take this class! 45-minutes - Strength & Cardio

AMPD Fusion is the latest group fitness format from the creators of Kettlebell AMPD®. It combines resistance band training with kettlebell training for a whole new head-to-toe workout.  It takes great music and combines it with simple resistance band and kettlebell movements to create a fun, effective total body workout that is safe for all fitness levels.

AMPD Power Flow is the newest fitness format that will give you a workout experience like never before. This program, created by Kettlebell AMPD, fuses together kettlebells, resistance bands, and yoga inspired movements. AMPD Power Flow delivers a calorie burning low impact workout that will help you gain strength, balance, and flexibility, all while moving to fun, flowy music.
Accessible to everyone and all fitness levels, AMPD Power Flow will deliver a total body workout while joining together two worlds -- yoga and fitness. Get ready to get strong, stable, and stretchy with this unique yoga inspired program. Balance - mind, body, flow!​
NOTE:  This class, offered on Wednesday evenings with Rhonda at 5:30, is a SilverSneakers eligible class.
Core de Force (kickboxing)
45 Minutes – Strength & Cardio

Experience the ultimate mixed-martial arts style body shaping class. Constant core rotational movement helps you blast away the fat, carve your core, and feel like a total badass.

We are very excited to be able to bring SilverSneakers (tm) classes to Coach Mel's.   We have various classes offered. 

While these classes are intended for older adults, they are also a great way to start exercising, or getting back to exercising after an illness, surgery, etc.

Kettlebell AMPD​ Unplugged
45-minutes - Strength​ (Level 4 - can be done standing or seated)

Kettlebell AMPD unplugged takes heart-pumping music and your favorite kettlebell moves and combines them into 45-minutes of calorie-torching fun! This program  was created so that all moves can be done standing or in a chair.  Perfect for an active older adult, or somone that does not want the intensity of our regular Kettlebell AMPD class.

All classes are for ALL fitness levels.  
Your certified instructor will show you modifications to match YOUR  fitness level.
